MSA Champions Basketball

Leagues - Fall 2011

MSA Champions basketball leagues is competitive league is for young athletes with a focus on teaching basketball basic skills and fundamentals. Our professional Coaches will run the games. The league is for age group 5-14 years old. The league will have Four (4) age groups: 5 and 6 year olds, 7 and 8 year olds, 9 and 11 year olds, and 12 – 14years old. Age group 5-6 is Coed and the other age groups will be separated by gender: boys and girls teams. This league will be held on the weekends.

How it works:

Six games played at the locations and at varying times, but on the assigned day.
Players who register as individuals will be assigned to teams as space allows.
Placement of individuals on a team is contingent on sufficient registrations to form a team.
Each team will be assigned a coach, to guide the team in the games.
Individual registration deadline: Friday, July1, 2011.
MSA will provide jerseys to the participants.
MSA will provide all game equipment, but participants are required to bring their own balls.
At the end of the program, MSA will provide an achievement award to all participants.
Trophies are awarded to the League winning teams.
The league will begin on Saturday, September 17, 2011 and it ends before mid November 2011.

Registration deadline: Friday, July 1, 2011.

After teams have been formed, MSA will contact the players on/or before the first practice of the season to confirm location and time.

Games begin the weekend of September 17, 2011.

Locations & Time:

Game locations: At Montgomery County public Schools and recreation centers

Games times will be scheduled hourly between: Saturday’s 9 am to 4 pm & Sunday’s noon to 4pm
